Overheight scrap metal storage for crane access
These warehouses were built especially to provide extra height access so that large cranes could enter and leave the storage area and work inside for waste storage and recycling.
Built in grey steel, it is difficult to get an impression of the height, but the doors are 10m high and allowing cranes and JCBs into the building for the movement of scrap metals and waste recycling. Built using connecting frames, the whole of the interior space of the four sections is accessible to vehicles without overhead obstructions or interior pilars to get in the way.
