The UK's steel
building network

Example of warehouse construction

A twin framed simple shed-style warehouse in chocolate steel cladding with red detailing for the guttering.

Steel building for warehouse use from the front The warehouse is built using two linked internal portal frame structures so the interior space spreads across both roofs here giving an enormous continuous internal space.

From the front, the building is finished with an overheight roller door for goods and delivery access. Also notice that the building dimensions have been set so as to maximise the available land with bump barriers around the outside.

Steel building for warehouse use from the back The rear view shows that for security there are no windows on the walls, but both roofs include skylights for natural light internally. The building includes both front and rear access and an emergency door at the back. Exterior lighting has been mounted on the steel cladding.
